Technical Project Coordinator

Ideally this will suit a recent graduate with 2 plus years experience in project administration within the software / IT sector.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Technical Project Coordinator to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of software development projects. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

The Technical Project Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.


Salary: £28,000/year

Location: Remote

What will you be doing day-to-day?

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time, within budget and scope.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues, delays, bottlenecks or budget overrun or scope creep. Use tools to monitor technical team working hours, plans and expenditures.
  • Attend all project and project related meetings while taking minutes.
  • Assisting in drafting, managing and filing of the statement of works
  • Updating the revenue tracker with milestone achievements
  • Customer engagements for project updates, purchase order and payment follow ups
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare regular project reports for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure accurate recording of project requirements, specifications, and progress updates.
  • Reviewing timesheets against statement of work time allocation
  • Requesting Purchase orders
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Organise and lead project meetings, providing agendas, minutes, and action items.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Assist in quality assurance processes, ensuring that software products meet specified requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with testing teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Identify potential risks and issues in the project and work proactively to mitigate them.
  • Escalate critical issues to the project manager and assist in developing contingency plans.
